This look is inspired by the weekend. This outfit is flawless for a weekend of catching up with the girls and its sweet enough for a romantic day with your hubby or boyfriend. I love florals and nautical prints. Would you ever be brave enough to mix patterns in one outfit? Hot or not?
The first person I saw that was in love with infinity jewelry was a co worker about a year ago. She had a very lovely infinity ring. There is a fashion portal site that I frequently browse, and they had a contest to create a look for #HowToStyle #InfinityJewelry. I don't expect to win at all, but this is my personal vision. What are your thoughts, do you own any infinity jewelry and would you ever incorporate any of these pieces into your wardrobe?
Just another set I entered into the #HowToStyle #InfinityJewelry contest last week. A lot of contestants are really good at building editorial fashion spreads. I'm just...ehhh...okay, but I have received a few "likes" on both my entries nonetheless, so I am please people admire my layouts as much as I did. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I do not expect to win at all (lol), but what do you think? Would you ever style or wear your #InfinityJewelry this way? What are your thoughts? Rock it? or Stop it?
My friends are getting married in Detroit in August! They inspired me to make this set, as I am still contemplating what I would like to wear. I like long and flowey dresses during weddings, mostly because there are very few occasions to get all the way glam for after well... high school prom. This classic cobalt blue razor back dress, goes great with gold embellishments and soft pale pink lips.
What do you think of this wedding guest inspired set? When you go to weddings, do you like long and flowey or do you prefer cocktail knee length dresses?
Labor day is quickly approaching :-(, but before it does, bring some flair to
your spring ensemble with pieces of white. Pair a chic white (or off white)
pencil skirt with a pop of vibrant color. I chose orange this time around. Finish the look with stylish metallic accessories
and fresh neutral makeup .
“Women think of all colors
except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too.
Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.”―Coco
I cannot pinpoint the reason why it has taken me so long to do this... but I have always wanted a fashion blog for as long as I remember. I am not an expert in fashion (lol). I simply love creating looks/styles to help others. Comment on my blog (please and thank you), tell me what looks/trends you would like me to post. I am working to create some cool segments so the site will be interactive and fun!
Thank you for visiting this page at it's inception (I know it's kinda plain). My sincere hope is that it flourishes into a fashion blog that you really enjoy. --B
I engineered this set for Camo Day. I noticed that the #TomBoy trend is in full force due to trendy celebs like Rhianna, Miley, and Rita Ora. For this set, I was supposed to style something #Camo for a fashion website that I like to post on. It's like Facebook, but for fashion sets, and each day there is a new theme or contest. There are many ways to incorporate #Camo into an outfit, but for this set I chose to stick with "sporty-chic". You can wear Camo with heels, flats, or tennis shoes in my opinion. What do you think of this set? Will you be rocking #Camo? Or will you be leaving this fad to the 25 and under crew?
I engineered this set one day for a #WhatToWear to #TheOffice segment. A good friend wanted me to help her construct a few outfits for her magazine's look book section. As soon as she asked, I recall purchasing a tweed jacket from Target last winter, and the colors are similar to the tweed showcased above. Its one of my favorite blazers to date. How do you work the tweed trend at the office?
My key pieces: I start with a staple bag, sleek black pants, and a modern pump. Keep it simple under your tweed blazer with a crisp white colored shirt. Lastly, don't forget a nice watch. Apply liquid eyeliner, and soft matte makeup to polish the look.
So, what do you think? Do you ever reach for anything tweed during winter season? Are you a fan of this set, or pass?
This is one of my favorite sets :-) It's also one of my first ones.
I have always been a HUGE fan of big, slouchy, comfy sweaters. In summer, if the weather permits, sweaters are easy to pair with distressed denim. I also adore the color blocking in this sweater top. What do you think? Do you like this outfit? Would you ever pair a retro sweater with a pair of cut offs?
