The blazer trend is so fun to style; Women's blazers can be worn for work or play, but for this particular post, I chose to play :-) Because blazers come in an unlimited assortment of colors, by accident, I have made blazers a staple in my wardrobe. Every time I would see a new color, I would want it! I even requested of my boyfriend "DO NOT let me buy another darn blazer".
Earlier this week, I was asked by a colleague how would I style a bright red blazer. I suppose she noticed that I wear blazers frequently, and she expressed she has been contemplating purchasing a new color. She said she liked red, because she felt it could be worn year around. Do you like blazers as much as I do? If so, I hope you are inspired by this fashion set. It's edgy and feminine at the same time. What's your opinion? Do you have blazers in many different colors? If not, would you ever incorporate a bright colored blazer into your wardrobe?
If you are a lover of fresh, fun, bold prints, then I hope you will enjoy this look. It's perfect for a chic day party, hot date, girls night, or even a birthday. Not crazy about showing your mid drift? Then scratch the crop top, and simply pair with a black cami of your choice. Complete the look with a chunky gold link bracelet, a sleek geometry black clutch, and soft wave curls.
This sweet and playful collaborative would be perfect for a music festival or day outing. Rompers/playsuits are cool and breezy. They are the perfect alternative to heavier fabrics in hot temperatures, and I hope this trend is around for many more summers to come. What do you think? Would you attempt this look at all this season?
hair, when dyed correctly, is absolutely
gorgeous against rays of sun during summer. Luckily, the Ombre trend is still
evolving into textiles. When asked how to style this craze, I chose cool gray with contemporary minimal accessories and a clear clutch. What about Ombre Necklaces? Would you ever rock
this style or nope? Your thoughts?
This look is dedicated to the drape cardigan. Cardigans can be paired with almost anything you have in your closet. You can style cardigans with jeans, over a blouse to work, or even over a neutral dress like above. The #DrapeCardigan is extremely versatile and is perfect for mixing and matching. For this set, I selected a simple cotton gray dress and gladiator heels. To accessorize, match with fringe earrings, and studded handbag. Complete the look with a seductive smokey eye and add a pop of color to your nails.
Are you feeling #DrapeCardigans at all? I heart personally!
This look is inspired by the weekend. This outfit is flawless for a weekend of catching up with the girls and its sweet enough for a romantic day with your hubby or boyfriend. I love florals and nautical prints. Would you ever be brave enough to mix patterns in one outfit? Hot or not?
The first person I saw that was in love with infinity jewelry was a co worker about a year ago. She had a very lovely infinity ring. There is a fashion portal site that I frequently browse, and they had a contest to create a look for #HowToStyle #InfinityJewelry. I don't expect to win at all, but this is my personal vision. What are your thoughts, do you own any infinity jewelry and would you ever incorporate any of these pieces into your wardrobe?
Just another set I entered into the #HowToStyle #InfinityJewelry contest last week. A lot of contestants are really good at building editorial fashion spreads. I'm just...ehhh...okay, but I have received a few "likes" on both my entries nonetheless, so I am please people admire my layouts as much as I did. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I do not expect to win at all (lol), but what do you think? Would you ever style or wear your #InfinityJewelry this way? What are your thoughts? Rock it? or Stop it?
My friends are getting married in Detroit in August! They inspired me to make this set, as I am still contemplating what I would like to wear. I like long and flowey dresses during weddings, mostly because there are very few occasions to get all the way glam for after well... high school prom. This classic cobalt blue razor back dress, goes great with gold embellishments and soft pale pink lips.
What do you think of this wedding guest inspired set? When you go to weddings, do you like long and flowey or do you prefer cocktail knee length dresses?
Labor day is quickly approaching :-(, but before it does, bring some flair to
your spring ensemble with pieces of white. Pair a chic white (or off white)
pencil skirt with a pop of vibrant color. I chose orange this time around. Finish the look with stylish metallic accessories
and fresh neutral makeup .
“Women think of all colors
except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too.
Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.”―Coco
I cannot pinpoint the reason why it has taken me so long to do this... but I have always wanted a fashion blog for as long as I remember. I am not an expert in fashion (lol). I simply love creating looks/styles to help others. Comment on my blog (please and thank you), tell me what looks/trends you would like me to post. I am working to create some cool segments so the site will be interactive and fun!
Thank you for visiting this page at it's inception (I know it's kinda plain). My sincere hope is that it flourishes into a fashion blog that you really enjoy. --B
I engineered this set for Camo Day. I noticed that the #TomBoy trend is in full force due to trendy celebs like Rhianna, Miley, and Rita Ora. For this set, I was supposed to style something #Camo for a fashion website that I like to post on. It's like Facebook, but for fashion sets, and each day there is a new theme or contest. There are many ways to incorporate #Camo into an outfit, but for this set I chose to stick with "sporty-chic". You can wear Camo with heels, flats, or tennis shoes in my opinion. What do you think of this set? Will you be rocking #Camo? Or will you be leaving this fad to the 25 and under crew?
I engineered this set one day for a #WhatToWear to #TheOffice segment. A good friend wanted me to help her construct a few outfits for her magazine's look book section. As soon as she asked, I recall purchasing a tweed jacket from Target last winter, and the colors are similar to the tweed showcased above. Its one of my favorite blazers to date. How do you work the tweed trend at the office?
My key pieces: I start with a staple bag, sleek black pants, and a modern pump. Keep it simple under your tweed blazer with a crisp white colored shirt. Lastly, don't forget a nice watch. Apply liquid eyeliner, and soft matte makeup to polish the look.
So, what do you think? Do you ever reach for anything tweed during winter season? Are you a fan of this set, or pass?
This is one of my favorite sets :-) It's also one of my first ones.
I have always been a HUGE fan of big, slouchy, comfy sweaters. In summer, if the weather permits, sweaters are easy to pair with distressed denim. I also adore the color blocking in this sweater top. What do you think? Do you like this outfit? Would you ever pair a retro sweater with a pair of cut offs?
